Leafield Marine offer many products for a number of different applications. As a result, it is vital that we offer a selection of hose fittings to enable proper functioning of these products. These are often seen as part of our specialist gas inflation systems for boats, life rafts, and self-righting bags.
M16 Saginaw Straight Fitting
The M16 is a light and compact standard fitting designed to connect a hose to the Leafield Cylinder Valve. The fitting gives consistent performance at a range of pressures and is especially good at high pressure. Like many of our other fittings, the M16 Saginaw is available in either 316 stainless steel or zinc nickel plated mild steel. Although both are highly functional in the marine environment, we suggest the stainless steel for continued exposure. A key benefit of this fitting is that no special tools are needed for fitting and adjustments.
90° Compact Swivel Quick Connect Fitting
The 90° Compact Swivel Quick Connect Fitting is specifically designed to enable rapid and flexible attachment of a hose to the Leafield Gas Inlet Valve. This fitting can additionally be used alongside the Quick Fit Connector to allow fast connection to the Cylinder Valve. This fitting allows the hose to rotate freely. We offer this fitting in 316 stainless steel or zinc nickel plated mild steel.
3/8 BSP Flat Face Fitting– Straight
The straight 3/8 BSP Flat Face Fitting is needed to connect a hose to the Leafield Cylinder Valve (GIS). However, this fitting requires a sealing washer in order to connect the components. Again, this fitting can be made in 316 stainless steel or zinc nickel plated mild steel.
¼” BSP Female Fitting – Straight
The straight ¼” BSP Female Fitting is used in the Leafield Direct Inflation Systems for Boats and Leafield Servo systems. This fitting is available in both 316 stainless steel or zinc nickel plated mild steel. However, we recommend using the stainless-steel option for use with our boat rapid inflation systems.
¼” BSP Male Fitting Straight
Like the female fitting, straight ¼” BSP Male Fitting is used in the Leafield Boat Rapid Inflation System. This fitting, however, is only available in 316 stainless steel due to the prolonged exposure to salt water it faces. This ensures the fitting will not face corrosion, and will provide reliable inflation over time.
